- 1. What is ListUp?
Listup is a dedicated platform for trading used goods efficiently and safely, while saving time with maximum reach and less effort in the entire process.
It connects people staying nearby to buy and/or sell used goods by making it fast and easy for anyone to post a listing through ListUp App.
- 2. Why ListUp??
ListUp is a trusted platform.
Seller’s ‘Product’ and Buyer’s Money; both are secure.
You get fast response and good resale value for your product.
Your business and products will be discovered by many interested buyers.
Any product that’s still in stock for many weeks or can’t be sold as new; can be listed.
ListUp will take care of the advertisement on Social Media and other platforms for you.
You don’t have to worry about deliveries because Pickup/Delivery is taken care by us.
- 3. How to use ListUp?
Download and open ‘ListUp.'
Hit ‘Sell’ button.
Click images of your ‘Product’ to sell.
Put a good title.
Fill in the complete & attractive description about your product.
Put the price at which you want to sell it.
If you want the buyer to negotiate, don’t touch ‘Negotiable’ otherwise turn it off for a ‘Fixed Price.'
Select from any of the 10 categories in ‘Pick Category’.
All done, hit “Ready to sell.”
- 4. What happens after I am “Ready to sell”?
Interested buyer will contact you through ‘Buy’ button if they accept your price tag.
A buyer may also Chat/Bargain with you and make an offer.
Please Do Attend The Inquiry Of The Buyer.
Once deal is finalized, someone from ListUp Support will connect with both of you to help.
- 5. How do I log in?
You can login using your Facebook account.
Steps (In iOS) - Click on ‘Login with Facebook’.
1. It will open either a dialog to give access of your profile to ListUp, or will open facebook app or browser.
2. In next step facebook will ask for some permission, which is required for improving your experience. When you will click ‘continue’ you will be redirected to ListUp app, where we will take some seconds of time to setup your profile and you are done.
Steps (In Android) -
1. Click on ‘Login with Facebook’.
2. It will take you straight to the ListUp home page if you have Facebook app installed on your device. If you don’t have Facebook app installed on your phone, you’ll be prompted to fill in your details through the in-app browser and you are good to go.
6. How do I put up a product listing?
Hit the sell icon found on the Home screen.
Click on the camera icon on the top left to add a photo
You can add up to 4 Images of your product per listing.
Select category and price of the product
Add the name and description.
You can also edit the location of the product.
There is an option to enable “Negotiable” option if you’re willing to accept a lower price from the buyer; bargain.
Click on “Ready to sell” icon after you are done with all the details.
On Android, you can see the upload status for your ad in the notifications. On iOS, you can see the upload status on the main screen itself.
After uploading, you may get a screen indicating that the product is eligible for ListUp Advantage.
You can post another ad from there or continue exploring other products.
- 7. How do I edit a listing?
Go to your Profile screen
Below you can see all the products listed by you.
Click on the listing you want to edit.
You can see 2 options at the bottom as edit and sold (Which is to mark product as sold, once the transaction is complete).
Click on edit.
Make the required changes.
Click on Ready to Sell after changes are made.
- 8. How to delete a listing?
Go to your profile page.
Below you will see all the products listed by you.
Click on the listing you want to delete.
On the top right corner, you will find an options key.
Click on Delete to delete your listing.
You cannot delete already marked products as ‘sold’.
- 9. How to set a price for a used product?
Calculate the age of the product.
Cross check the condition of the product for any issues in hardware and software.
Check online for the price of the second-hand product, which you own and price it competitively.
- 10. How do I interact with buyers/sellers?
There are two in-built functions that allow you to communicate.
One is the chat where you can have a dialogue with the buyers/sellers and the other is the bargain, which allows people to haggle over the displayed price and come to a conclusion beneficial to both parties.
- 11. What protection do I have when interacting with buyers/sellers?
In order to protect our clients from unscrupulous individuals/groups we have a facebook login system. This ensures the authenticity of the person/group you are interacting with.
- 12. How do I browse products?
In ListUp,we conveniently arrange products by how close they are to your current location.
This ensures minimum hassle and you can buy from your own neighbourhood that you know and trust.
We also have a built-in search function that enables you to search for a specific product.
Also you can use filters according to categories to browse for the product you are looking for.
- 13. How do I buy products?
After using the “Bargain” feature to arrive at a conclusion on the price, you can use the chat function to interact with the seller for a better deal.
Users in Mumbai can directly buy the product through online payment and get it delivered to the buyer’s address. Delivery will be done in 3 Business days and the buyer has the option to return the product if its not upto his/her satisfaction in 2 Business Days.
- 14. What is the “Wishlist” feature?
The Wishlist is the list of items you would like to have. For example, if you see a product you like, but don't want to rush buying it, you can simply wishlist it and see if another offer presents itself.
You can see/access your wishlist products anytime on your profile screen.
To have any product in your Wishlist, click on the ‘Heart icon’ on the top right of the product image.
- 15. How do 'Connections' work?
One of the philosophies of ListUp is to be able to do transaction with those you know and trust.
Connections is our way of implementing this. Several factors (such as Facebook Friends) are taken into account, when deciding the number of connections you have with a person.
- 16. How to make payments on ListUp?
Check for the Listup Advantage icon on the top right corner of the product image.
Only products that are eligible for ListUp Advantage can be paid online.
Click the buy button if you agree with the seller’s price and wait for confirmation.
After the seller has accepted the offer, proceed to the payment gateway and complete the payment.
- 17. How to use the ‘In-app’ filters?
Look for the (filter icon) on the Top Right of main page, beside the search icon.
Hit it and select the category of the product you are looking for.
Click ‘Okay’ after selecting the category.
- 18. How to add a photo from the gallery for your listings?
Check for images icon in the bottom right(Android) or above the click photo button(iOS) to add images.
You can add up to 4 images to each product listing.
- 19. What's "Negotiable"?
If you want to allow buyers to bargain on your product, you can enable “Negotiable” while adding or editing a product.
Please note that by default ‘Negotiable’ button is always enabled, if you don’t choose to deactivate it.
- 20. Can I bargain on a product?
You can bargain on products where the Seller has enabled the “Negotiable” option.
If the seller hasn’t enabled the “Negotiable” option, the bargain button will get grayed out.
- 21. How to edit profile details?
Go to the profile page.
Look for the options menu on the top right corner.
Click edit and make the changes that are required.
Do note that you can only edit Mobile number or only be able to add email address (if not available).
Your Name, profile picture and cover picture are all attached to your facebook account.
- 22. Is my product eligible for ListUp Advantage?
If you add a listing in Mumbai, then that product very much qualifies for ListUp delivery.
You can check by clicking on your listing in Description Screen, below the image “Item qualifies for LISTUP ADVANTAGE” should be on display.
Do note that Cars and Bikes do not qualify for ListUp Advantage.
- 23. How many days will it take for the product to reach me?
After successful receipt of the payment, your product will arrive at your doorsteps in 2-3 working days.
Note that these products must qualify as ListUp advantage products.
- 24. When are returns not possible?
There are certain scenarios where it is difficult for us to support returns.
Return request is made outside the specified time frame.
Product is damaged because of use or Product is not in the same condition as you received it.
Any consumable item which has been used or installed.
- 25. I have changed my mind and would like to retain the product. What do I do?
Return is not possible unless the product is damaged or not as shown in the pic.
- 26. How long will it take to process my cancellation request?
If the item is not yet dispatched then cancellation is possible.
Once it's in transit or delivered, cancellation will not be possible.
- 27. My Listings are not getting posted. What should I do?
Please check your internet connection and try again.

- 28. I cannot post any ads. I think I'm blocked. What did I do?
There is a probability that you violated the ListUp terms and conditions.
Posting counterfeit products, clubbing products together, posting fake/nude images are well against the terms and conditions.
- 29. I want to Invite my friends. How to share this app?
In Android go to ‘Menu’ on top left of the screen.
In iOS go to more screen.
Go to ‘Refer your Friends’.
Choose from Whatsapp, Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Email, SMS, or plethora of other sharing options available there.
Another option is to go to your profile.
Swipe right to left on you ‘Friends on ListUp’ and hit on ‘Invite’ at the end of it (on the right side).
Hit on ‘Invite’ and select from the available list of your Facebook friends; to send a Facebook Invitation.
In iOS 10 (iPhone 6S, 6S+, 7, 7+) -> Use 3D touch (force touch) on app icon select “Share ListUp” option to share ListUp app without launching app.
- 30. How to share any product?
In product description screen there are options to share product by Facebook, and Whatsapp.
- 31. How do I send feedback?
We are always interested in what our users think of ListUp and how it can be improved.
As a result we have many ways for receiving feedback.
You can rate the ListUp app on GooglePlay and the Apple app Store.
If you'd like to send a personal message, you can do so via the app and the website (www.listup.co.in) as well.

- 32. How to protect myself from verbal abuse/harassment?
Cyber-bullying is an issue we take very seriously. In order to avoid such undesirable behaviour, we have decided to censor any words that can be used to hurt individuals.
You must also report to us using Help & Feedback option.
- 33. Does ListUp have any offers or gifts to participate in?
On occasions we do post banners on our app for various goodies like movie tickets, Gift vouchers etc.; so make sure you don’t miss out on those.
